Is the Past Prologue? Just Sayin'

My son, Sess, sent me a text this morning.  He is the manager of a funeral home, mausoleum and cemetery in TX.  He was reading this week's Couch postings and noted that I mentioned David Koresh.  Mr Koresh is buried in that cemetery.  I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

For those of you too young to remember and according to Wikipedia:

David Koresh (August 17, 1959 – April 19, 1993) was the leader of the Branch Davidians religious sect believing himself to be its final prophet. A 1993 raid by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the subsequent siege by the FBI ended with the burning of the Branch Davidian ranch outside of Waco, Texas, in McLennan County. Koresh, 54 other adults and 28 children were found dead after the fire.

Since that time, there are many people who are survivalists and are stockpiling guns, ammunition, gold, and silver.  Is the past really prologue?

Just sayin'.
